Q. Does TRAKiT provide Online Public Access to construction permits, government forms, etc. through the Internet?

A. Yes. Q. Does TRAKiT provide multiple levels of security?

A. Yes, all features of our software are controlled by a variety of security access levels. A range of security levels can be implemented to allow the public to have 'observe only' access, varying levels for system users based on their access needs, all the way to full access for System Administrators. The level of assigned access will determine if a particular person is able to conduct any of the software functions.

Q. Describe program and data backup procedures for TRAKiT.

A. Program backup is provided by self-extracting zip packages containing version releases. Each package is dated, and contains all program files and modules required to reinstall the software.

Data tables and databases are backed up by an Agency according to Agency standards for backup. Additionally, our software does not impose data duplication requirements on the server; however, the database server can be configured to provide data redundancy.

Q. Some government software solutions do not permit user-customizable modules. Will TRAKiT let me do this?

A. All data tables are designed in SQL language, using industry standard data types and sizes. All index names and relationships are easily accessible by an Agency. Upon software implementation, we provide a written schema identifying all data tables and indexes. Our software includes a 'user-definable' data builder, allowing additional fields to be added to the database by the System Administrator.

A. Our routing, or workflow, feature serves as such a checklist for this purpose. The checklist can consist of a variety of activities including, reviews and signoffs, that need to occur prior to the approval or issuance of a permit. Agency staff can easily access, or modify if they have proper security access, the checklist to determine the status of an application or permit.
